In honour of the celebrations pertaining to The Decade of Independence and the Millennium of Statehood of Montenegro, The Galleria is hosting a special event showcasing a traditional Montenegrin Folklore dance group.
The Folklore ensemble, Crna Gora, from Montenegro were founded in 2000. The main mission of the Crna Gora is to collect, adapt and save from oblivion Montenegrin folk dances and songs, national musical heritage. Their wide repertoire includes primarily dances from Montenegro. Through dancing and singing, they promote the noblest values of Montenegro, such as inter-ethnic harmony and multiculturality.
The ensemble won all major domestic and international awards and they represent the most numerous ensemble in Montenegro. They participated on folklore festivals in Spain, France, Portugal, Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Belarus, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Greece, Slovakia, Romania, Turkey etc.
