Select an experience from a variety of special offers at The Galleria on Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi   Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: 27th April 2014: Friends and families can prepare to tantalize their taste buds, embark on a culinary journey around the world and enjoy family friendly activities as Restaurant Month returns to take over the ever diverse and growing dining collection at The Galleria on Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi from May 1st – 31st, 2015.   The foodie festivities will take over the café terraces, more than ten of The Galleria’s restaurants and cafés, as well as part of Rosewood Abu Dhabi’s dining collection. A plethora of family-themed activities including specially designed menus, cooking classes, and kids’ activities will be running throughout the entire month of May.   Building on the success of last year, a number of new restaurants will be joining the Restaurant Month portfolio, including the home-grown and Emirati-owned gourmet café concept GOSSIP Café and Desserts. Gossip serves Euro-American dishes with Emirati flavors, with optional gluten-free, dairy free and vegan offerings. For Restaurant Month, Gossip will showcase "The Ultimate Dessert”, a signature dessert priced at AED 100, which has been hand crafted by the founder, Dr. Shayma Fawwaz, who launched this concept with the goal of providing healthy, and yet delicious meals.   Those on the lookout for a healthy and unique alternative can sample a Californian and Afghani fusion at Nolu’s Downtown with an un-missable offer of a three course meal including one serving from the restaurant’s salad bar, an Afghani appetizer, followed by your choice of Kabob, Nolu’s Burger or pasta for just AED 99 per person.   For a European culinary journey, Bentley Bistro & Bar will be serving a Signature Sharing Menu for two persons to enjoy, available daily starting lunchtime. This will include dishes such as pan-seared venison steak, served with beetroot and chestnuts, or a cubed sirloin salad served with beetroot cashew nuts and crisp onions, and an indulgent Nutella chocolate fondue, for AED 260 per person. In addition, the French bistro has created a dessert platter featuring signature dessert bites for two persons, priced at AED 70 dirhams.   Those looking to discover authentic North African flavors, can dine at Almaz by Momo and savor Moroccan aromas with a three-course menu that includes a fresh crispy seasonal vegetable salad with ouzo dressing, a signature camel tagine with vegetables and rice, and the exquisite gaunaja and cinnamon ice-cream treat for AED 110 per person.   For a gourmet taste of Italy, Emporio Armani Café has curated a dedicated menu for Restaurant Month. Buffalo mozzarella cheese, tomato, cold pachino sauce and basil oil is what guests will savor as their appetizer, followed by linguine with lobster, and a mixed seafood and cherry tomato sauce for mains, as well as a decadent chocolate fondant served with pistachio ice-cream for just AED 165.   For a scrumptious and yet more homely taste of Italia, Carluccio’s has created a fixed two-course menu for AED 79 and a three-course menu for AED 99, all available from their highly acclaimed daily menu.   Straight from New York’s favorite, Magnolia Bakery, comes a set menu priced at only AED 59 featuring a sandwich, a salad or pasta, a soft drink and a cupcake of your choice.   Moving into Asia, guests can discover the fusion between Japanese and Mediterranean cuisine at Sushi Art and explore international flavors created in a unique style, through the specially designed “Sushi Art around the World” menu.  Two persons can enjoy signature dishes such as the Rock’n’Roll signature rolls, the Tuscan spring roll, sea bream ceviche and volcano sushi for just AED 250.   Additionally, the multi-award winning Royal Orchid Restaurant will be serving up a culinary cruise to the Far East with a dedicated Dim Sum Festival menu of eighteen varieties starting from AED 25 each.   To appeal to those hungry diners looking for more casual dining options from around the world, the set menu at Leopold’s of London features dishes such as Tunisian spiced chicken, or sumac rubbed salmon fillet and feta salad for just AED 125 per person. Those looking for heartier meals can treat themselves at Lemongrass Thai Restaurant, offering a spicy variety of curry dishes from AED 49 each, whilst Wildfire New York Grill fans can pick up a Wildfire sandwich, fries and a drink for only AED 40.   Visitors with a sweet tooth have not been forgotten. Café Bateel invites them to enjoy the rich tradition of Arabic hospitality with a special offer: sticky toffee date pudding and qahwa (traditional coffee), priced at AED 39.   For those guests who want to embrace the culinary journeys of Rosewood Abu Dhabi, Chef Siddharth Krishna of Spice Mela, will take guests back in time to the Royal Court of Rajasthan with a unique menu created especially for Restaurant Month: Kings and Queens Part III. For just AED 295 per person, the menu includes dishes such as smoked lamb with candied garlic, braised chicken with white spices and strained yoghurt and crispy Indian pancakes served with caramel and a saffron infusion. Please note grape pairing is priced at AED 460 and prices at the Rosewood Abu Dhabi are subject to 10% service charge and 6 % tourism fee.   May will also mark the opening of Caboodle on Level 2 at The Galleria on Al Maryah Island. Abu Dhabi’s premier shopping and dining destination starts the Year of The Goat celebration with family-friendly fun and outstanding Chinese-themed performances   Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, 19th February 2015: Impressive laser shows, delicious dining and entertainment marked the festivities at The Galleria on Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi which began its second Chinese New Year celebrations last night. Abu Dhabi’s premier shopping and dining destination welcomed residents and tourists alike to experience what has become an established world-class events destination. In keeping with the legacy of this annual extravaganza, Al Maryah Island takes this year’s celebrations an exciting step further with martial arts showcases, lion acrobat dances, Chinese Opera and mouthwatering Chinese cuisine.
